This policy explains what OmniGame (diceforgevtt.kasimkazmi.com) stores when you play, where it is kept, and who can see it. OmniGame is built to need as little personal information as possible.
No accounts
OmniGame has no sign-up, password or email login. To play you enter a display name and choose a role (Game Master or player). We do not ask for your email address, real name or date of birth.
Your display name, role and a random player ID are kept in your browser's local storage so you stay "signed in" on that device. Logging out removes them.
What we store on our servers
Game rooms: the room name and description you enter, the Game Master's display name and player ID, whether the room is private, player counts, status and timestamps. A room password, if you set one, and the Game Master's access token are stored only as salted hashes.
IP address of the person who creates a room, saved with the room. We use it only to trace abuse and to enforce bans. It is never returned to other players.
Bans: if a Game Master ID or IP address is banned for abuse, that ID or address and the reason are stored.
Uploaded images: maps and other images you upload are stored in our file storage (Supabase Storage) at a public web address. Anyone who has that address can view the image, so do not upload anything private.
Our database and file storage are provided by Supabase. The pages and API are served by our hosting provider, which, like any web server, may keep standard request logs such as IP address and browser type.
Live game data and chat
During a session, chat messages, dice rolls, token moves and other game actions are sent to the other players in the room through Supabase Realtime. These messages are relayed live; we do not save chat or game actions in our database.
Every player in the room, and any client connected to that room's channel, can see what you send. Treat room chat as visible to everyone in the room.
Each player's browser keeps a copy of the current game state (including up to the last 100 chat messages) in local storage so a session can be restored after a reload.
What stays in your browser
We use your browser's local storage, not tracking cookies, for: your display name and role, the room you are in, the current game state, Game Master access tokens for rooms you created, and game saves you create with the Save Game feature. Game saves are not uploaded to our servers.
You can delete all of this at any time by logging out or clearing site data for this website in your browser.
Analytics and advertising
OmniGame does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Room records, including the creator's IP address, are kept until the room is deleted by the Game Master or by an administrator. Uploaded images are kept until they are removed.
Ban records are kept while the ban is in force.
Children
OmniGame is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has uploaded personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices and contact
To ask what we hold about you, or to have a room or uploaded image removed, email support@kasimkazmi.com. Since there are no accounts, tell us the room name or image so we can find it.
We may update this policy as the platform grows. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
